Hi there! My name is Tia Rhodes, I am the Homestay Co-ordinator for Unique New Zealand. I have worked for Unique New Zealand at various times since 1981.

I love my role here, it gives me huge satisfaction to see students fitting into life with one of our many wonderful Homestay families. I do my best to try to meet the requests of our students and hope that you all will return home with wonderful memories of life with your Kiwi family. I see many friendships form between students and homestays, these friendships are long lasting, and this to me is what being a homestay student is truly about.
