Feb 1, 2012
This week marks the start of the New Zealand state school first term and the end of this month will mark the start of many New Zealand tertiary organisation's academic year. Unique New Zealand last week farewelled some of our English for Further studies students who have now gone on to study in New Zealand high schools. We wish them the best of luck and hope that the skills they learned at Unique New Zealand help them in their New Zealand academic studies.
This year we must also congratulate the guardianship students that finished with us at the end of 2011. Many of these students completed their New Zealand high school education at the end of 2011. This year two students will be studying at Aucland University and one at AUT. Other students are returning to their home countries to begin their tertiary education, often in courses requiring some English skills. We congratulate them all on their years of hard work in New Zealand and hope that they do well in their further studies.
