On Friday 15th April $12630.00 was handed over to the Japanese Society of Auckland. This was the total amount raised by Unique New Zealand's fundraising events for Japan. The Japanese Society will be forwarding these funds on to the Red Cross in Japan. The ceremony was attended by the two members of the Japanese Society of Auckland plus the Deputy Consul General from the Consulate of Japan. It was a great ceremony and a fantastic end to several great fundraising events. You can read all about our fundraising efforts in an article published in the local Destination Browns Bay magazine.
