A group of our Japanese students organised a Charity Bazaar for Japan on Sunday 3rd April. They collected unwanted goods from staff, other students, homestays and Unique New Zealand and sold them in front of Campus 1. As well as these things they made and sold Japanese food, sold handmade anklets and painted faces and had activities for children. It was a very successful event and raised a lot of money for Japan. All of this money as well as the money raised at the Head Shaving event will be donated to the Red Cross - Japan through the Auckland Japanese Society. For lots more photos of our Charity Bazaar, please check our Facebook page. Check back here next week for the final total raised.
