You will have many questions about what studying at Unique New Zealand and living in Browns Bay will be like. We hope that the links below will help you to answer some of these questions. If not, please email us with your question.
What will the weather be like?
Auckland has a temperate climate. The seasons are opposite to the Northern hemisphere.
Summer: December-February (average daily temperature: 23 degrees Celsius)
Winter: June-August (average daily temperature: 14 degrees Celsius)
You can check the weather forecast for when you arrive at the Metservice website
How will I get around?
Many of the things you need for daily life are located in Browns Bay only a few minutes walk from the Unique New Zealand building (supermarket, restaurants, cafes, beach, pharmacies, doctors etc). However, Browns Bay is serviced by multiple bus routes and you can easily catch a bus to your homestay, other places on the North Shore and Auckland City. You can check the Auckland Transport website for information about buses and a Journey Planner
